Abundance Arts has a strong vision and commitment to benefit people taking part in our workshops and events. We want people to gain a feeling of wellbeing through having fun and learning together.

Abundance Arts team is made up of highly skilled artists/tutors from different parts of Africa and the Caribbean; (Ghana, Congo, South Africa, Nigeria, Trinidad) as well as volunteers, who dedicate their time on each project and event. A rich mix, delivering high quality creative learning programmes and performing amazing interactive shows.

The team is managed by a board of dedicated trustees from varied backgrounds; who have a wide range of skills and experience. Kenneth Hawes, Chair/trustee (Westminster social servises manager), Charles Jaja, Secretary (Artist/African Musician Consultant), Rachel George (Retired Teacher), Giles Rolph Trustee (NHS I.T. manager).

The team and trustees are commited to serving local communities through the power of music, bringing people together and promoting cultural understanding across the world, especially using the the unique power of African Rythms. Abundance Arts promote individual and team confidence, encourage creativity, teamwork and foster positive communication.

Our programme of workshops and performances are inspired by traditional African Arts, exciting drums and percussion, motivational songs, energising movement and dance, meaningful stories and stunning textiles, crossing over a wealth of African art and culture.

We deliver many school projects with cross-curricular benefits. Our 'Heart Beats' project and 'Food for thought' 2011 brought people of different generatons together to tell their stories and learn from each other. We work with families, people with diabilities, local communities, charities and organisations, in London and nationally. Our work helps to develop transferable skills, confidence and positive self-expression for all participants.

Abundance Arts are proud of our work in local communites. Our excellent track record has lead to
funding and collaboration with well-know prestigious establishments, such as BBC Children in Need, the British Museum, Natural History Museum and Queen Elizabeth hall, doing music and storytelling performance/workshops, since gaining charitable status in 2002.

Abundance Arts continue to build on our success. We aim to carry on benefiting a wider range of people. We run regular events on our calendar, workshops and performances. You are welcome to come and join. You can also book us for your venue. We use your feedback to improve our work, and offer exciting relevant creative programmes. Abundance Arts are commited to excellence and improving peoples lives through rhythm, fun and learning.
